Taking Calvin CA 700 trike to Thailand
I was inspired by the blog of http://ceeipee.blogspot.com to start making my own. I am tired of the www.webspawner.com because it looks very dull, and also is limited by too little space for the length I want to have on my texts.

When I have studied homepages for hotels in Bangkok and other places in Thailand, I usually find them to have pictures which have too low quality to be really inspiring. So why does not the hotels pay someone to make more interesting presentation through this system?
When I arrive in Phuket on Wednesday November 23, I will stay in www.phukethostel.com
One private room with air-condition and breakfast cost 450 baht. so the 20 days from Nov 23 to Dec. 12 will cost 9000 baht, or 9kilobaht, which I like to shorten to 9kb.
I had searched for many hours to find a hotel which I could accept as cheap enough before I looked up in the book from Lonely Planet called "Thailand's Islands and Beaches".
I bring my much improved and changed tricycle Calvin CA 700, and hope that my knees will work better in the temperature around 28 than here in Brusand, Norway, with only 12 degrees celsius.
I have bought this one of a kind trike from www.alurehab.com for 8200 NOK.
They have bought it from Germany, and added 2 rear wheels.
Although this is not a fully reclined recumbent, I have a back support which is tilted backwards about 70 degrees. Both the seat which is no. 2 with tempur cushion, and the back support will h
ave tempur cushion attached to a plywood.
If I had more money, I probably would have been tempted to buy ready recumbent, or a more upright trike with back support like on www.scooterbike.com www.used-hq.com
I guess this cost about 2000 Euro, which is almost twice as much as mine.
Since I moved here to Brusand in May 2004, I started bicycling after a pause of about 25 years.
I remember that I followed my host to Ogna church, and when we had left the church after the service, I started thinking that maybe sitting on the "luggage rack" would be less painful than sitting on the narrow and hard seat of the Swedish "Perfekt" bicycle with 3 gears.
One man helped me by letting me use a piece of wood and a leather jacket. Later I picked up a white round seat originally made for use in dentist's office. My host helped me by making some wood parts so that the new seat could be held safely in the right place and forward angle.
Except from experiencing that the nut fell off onto the street when I bicycled towards the railway brigde at Vigrestad, and the left nut becoming loose, I have had no safety problems.
Although I am nearly 100 kg, the rack seems to be strong enough.
I have added one extra nut on both sides, though.
